sandringham flower show 2008
crowe garden design was delighted to be invited to exhibit a large show garden for the first time at the Sandringham flower show in July 2008 and achieved a gold medal award.
The designed show garden entitled "In a Summer Garden" was a riot of colour and took as it's theme a piece of classical music composed in 1908 by English composer Frederick Delius.
A Holkham gazebo from
HSP garden buildings formed the principal feature with the planting comprising of summer perennials, box balls and pleached liquidamber. The ornamental mulch was supplied by
County Mulch.
Award winning garden designer Adrian Crowe kept the designed garden simple in layout focussing on the planting design, in a classic cottage garden style, which the judges commented specifically upon.
The Sandringham flower show is run by the RHS affiliated Sandringham Estate Cottage Horticultural Society trust and has raised money for many years for local charities.
