Easton Lodge gardens to close..... temporarily
Tuesday 24th February 2009
The Gardens of Easton Lodge in Essex will not be opening to the public for the season of 2009 due to financial pressures. The news has come as a huge disappointment to the Trustees and numerous people involved with the gardens. However significant effort is being made to continue the restoration process and it is hoped that this will be the catalyst for progress. The gardens underwent a significant redesign by Harold Peto, English architect and garden designer, in 1902 and have a wonderful history.
